New York, June 13th 1927

On the day of Lindbergh’s return from Paris an estimated three million Americans celebrated in the streets of New York. From fifth avenue to lower Broadway the crowds were immense and the confetti raining down on the horse drawn carriages and floats produced one of the finest ticker tape parades this great city has ever witnessed.

Our Vision

The SOS2 project will re-create Charles Lindbergh's 1927 solo New York to Paris Atlantic crossing.

The SOS2 aircraft is the only Spirit replica purpose built to make the Atlantic crossing.

It is constructed with attention to authentic detail and adhering to contemporary safety standards.

SOS2 intends to carry modern, light weight Sat-Com gear enabling the aircraft to transmit the entire flight and experiece live to a global audiance.

Education is a high priority for the Spirit of St. Louis 2 project. Transmission of the flight to school childern wordwide is a project goal.
